Dear Community Member,
I am writing to tell you about an exciting show that has been happening in the Oxford Hills for the last three years. Circus Olé and Feast of Fools, is an animal-free extravaganza showcasing a spectacle of performers while proving that a circus does not need live animals to thrill and entertain.
This cabin-fever-busting annual favorite, draws audiences from all over western Maine and as far as Portland and Boston. With performers from Portland, Boston, Seattle, Vermont, and many local artists from Western Maine, this show supports the arts and the local economy with its far reaching fan base.
I am also writing to invite you to become a stakeholder in this wonderful event. Circus Olé will hit the ring, April 4th, 2015 at 7PM at the OHCHS Forum. I would love to share the spotlight with your, live onstage, in print and any other way I can.
As creator and director of this annual show I have always ensured that performers are paid and the expenses of this huge production are compensated. I have volunteered my time and energy for three years and counted on a large group of people to also volunteer their time and energy.
In order to keep this show running and continue to bring a unique, affordable, family-friendly event to our community I am asking for your support to help cover costs.
In exchange for your valued contribution a cardboard van, (yes you read that right) with a banner of your business and or logo will ride through the ring in between performances. In addition all press releases that run weekly leading up to the show will feature your business as a sponsor.
The ring master also recites a list of sponsors, and a wrap up letter to the editor gives appreciation to all who make this show possible, including sponsors. Of course, we will also give your logo placement in print and online whenever possible.
I will be following up with you and looking forward to speaking with you soon.
I thank you in advance for your consideration in supporting this important community event that brings so much joy to hundreds of people of all ages.
